Cherry Bomb
With a 26 5/8" scale length and a chromatic scale, CherryBomb is technically a plectrum guitar but it's proportions put it squarely in the dulcimer arena. It's got my usual maple and salvaged walnut neck, with an African mahogany body finished in red lacquer. The moradillo fretboard has a black and white pearl cartoon style bomb at the octave and dots of descending size to either side. Since it has a greater amount of string tension it's equipped with a dual action truss rod like most of my guitars. Currently it's tuned DGBE.
