REDSKY
Built for Charles Wagner of the metal band REDSKY this instrument is an offshoot of my Reaver series. It's a maple and walnut neck thru completely hidden within the carved mahogany body.
The general design is of arcane emblems and circles with the logo from REDSKY's album on the back.
The bound ebony fretboard is pinstriped in red with horned skull block inlays in mother of pearl with my bifurcated sun emblem at the octave.
The headstock is carved into a Giger-esque skull and bound to match the neck. It's equipped with Sperzel trim-lock tuners, a graphtech nut, and a dual action trussrod. The bridge is a Gotoh tune-o-matic with my usual string through body arrangement. The electronics consist of a chrome EMG-81 and 85 and a separate volume control for each pickup.
This instrument is tuned down three half steps but with the regular 24 3/4" Gibson scale.
