Scarlet
Scarlet is a tenor guitar of the neck thru string through variety. The hollow body has an ash top and back with maple sides and a black binding on top. The neck runs the length of the instrument but is fully enclosed so it doesn't show. The neck's made up of maple on the outsides with walnut and mahogany laminations in the center. The 12" radius fretboard is rosewood with dot inlays and a floral inlay at the octave. It's 23" scale tuned, at the moment, to DGbe. The neck's 1 1/4" at the nut and 1 1/2" at the body.

Pickup wise it's got my standard hand made Alnico 5 tenor guitar pickups. The neck pickup is reverse wound reverse polarity so that it's humbucking with both pickups active.

It's finished in scarlet red with darker red at the edges, all in nitrocellulose lacquer.
