Hibiscus
Named hibiscus on the grounds that that's the flower that're often printed on Hawaiian shirts and that's the ebony flower inlaid in the redheart fretboard. With it's pearl stamen as well as the other flowers as position markers that's the sort of theme it follows. Construction wise it's a mahogany, maple and walnut neck thru with a carbon fiber truss rod. The top's bubinga and the back half's mahogany. It's got one custom made Alnico V single coil and a leafy carved cocobolo bridge with a bone saddle set up as a string thru type arrangement with another pearl flower peaking out from under the edge. It's about tenor uke sized and scaled, tuned Dgbe. The traditional-ish style bridge as opposed to a hardtail style unit is to allow for a slightly wider string spread.

A sound sample the last fifteen seconds of which I clicked my distortion on so be forwarned it's loud, oddly truncated and possibly it's not as funny as I thought it was when I did it: A Minute on Hibiscus
