Talisman
Talisman is an acoustic electric 23" scale tenor guitar modeled after the Ibanez Talman guitar. It's fitted with an L.R. Baggs element undersaddle pickup with a preamp built into the jack. The top's spruce and the body's mahogany with white bindings.
It has a blue burst finish the back being interrupted with the word "Thanks" Ernest Tubbs style. The mahogany was taped off before the blue was sprayed so that the raw wood shows through to add both depth and continuity to the lettering.
Fitted in the oval soundhole is a floating halo rosette made of rosewood and abalone. It's mounted to the neck thru stub with a single screw. In the correct light the background fades away and it looks like it's floating there.
The neck is maple and mahogany with a rosewood fretboard inlaid with mother of pearl lettering.
Generally I stick to electrics so this is libel to be a wholly one of a kind type instrument.
