Not in my usual repertoire of tenors this is rather based on my Clockwork 3 dulcimers. It's built as a plectrum guitar, tuned Dgbe, with a 26 5/8" scale. It's got a clockface and gears inlay to fit the sort of steampunk theme. The neck's walnut and maple with a dual action trussrod. The body's maple with a birch plywood soundwell for the cone to sit in and the top can be unbolted for interior access. It's fitted with a cone mounted resonator guitar pickup. |
