Ukelectric, a 2 pickup neck thru electric tenor ukulele, is meant to be a simple, sporty little uke. It's not as light as an acoustic but lighter than some of my electrics tend to be with it's poplar body sprayed in translucent red lacquer.
It's neck is mahogany and maple with a moradillo fretboard and a carbon fiber truss rod. The scale's 17" with an adjustable hardtail style bridge it's currently strung in standard uke tuning save that the G is a low G instead of the standard higher one.
It's pickups are custom made Alnico II units with 43ga wire. |
